Jerry worked a job in construction through the month of January, but by the end of that month, he got a call from WalMart asking him to come back to work there and be on fulltime, so he put in his notice and started working at WalMart again. | |
Since this would give him the security after three months of work to have benefits and a steady income, we desided to move the wedding up to a date that was better for our family, guest and ourselves. We chose the 4th of July, because the kids would be out of school, and most people will have a three day weekend. | |
We also thought it more appropriate because our love for each other is always filled with firecrackers. We don't just love each other, we cherish each day we're together and we want the world to know that we don't ever want to live apart again. | |
On the 13th of March we chose our wedding rings, and Jerry bought a beautiful engagement ring for me to wear. On the 20th of March he proposed to me, and I've been wearing the ring since then. Our engagement was announced in the GeoWorld Report dated Vol. 4, No. 22 March 5, 1999. | |
