I cooked some tuna casserole with cut green beans for dinner and we ate at a card table I brought out, so we could play a game of Yahatzee before Jerry went back to western NC again. | |
We played a few rounds and were both still full from dinner, so we decided to take a walk and look at the stars that were so full that night. It had gotten late, and Jerry had decided to leave the next morning. | |
That night was so full of stars we went down by the river to see them in their full glory. It was the 27th of September so the weather was still warm enough to leave the jackets behind. | |
It was here by the river that we both decided to share our feelings for each other. I was worried that my age was too old for Jerry to really be comfortable with, and he felt I would think him too young. | |
