Song Clips by Donna

It's finally here: song clips of my first dabblings at recording my own music. It's very amateur, so don't expect a Grammy-worthy performance. However, this is a lifelong dream come true and I tremendous blessing that I am still thanking God for. By His mercy He gave me the opportunity to do this, so even if nobody hears this song, God is still glorified because He impressed these words and these notes on my heart so that I could praise Him with songs of praise.
If there is enough positive response and interest, I will make an opportunity to obtain a copy of the entire song on CD, so be sure to give me feedback!

Verse:
My heart cries out to You, Oh Lord
Amidst its sin and deceit
It’s been charred and broken by my own hands
And now it’s cold and left to bleed
So many times I choose to wander away
Warp good intentions into idolatry
Once again I am reminded that
To know You is my deepest need
Chorus:
I want to know You, Almighty God
For this is eternal life
Nothing else can quench my thirsty soul
But the Living Water that truly satisfies
My heart may try to long for lesser things
But by the power of Your blood I can raise my hands and say,
“You’re my everything!”
Verse:
It’s hard to always walk by faith
And to trust in Your sovereignty
The world whispers lies to tempt my heart
Discontent it seeks to breed
But I am sure that by Your Word it’s true
You’re most glorified when I’m satisfied in You
So let Your kingdom reign in me
And I will delight in You
End:
Lord, make me rich or make me poor
I will sing cause you’re the greatest reward
Take my life or take my land
On Christ the Solid Rock I stand
If joined in love or to serve alone
Just as long as Your glory, Lord, is shown
To serve You here or foreign shores
May I be less so You may be more…
Of all the things I hold most dear
It’s Your sweet voice that I long to hear –
Full of love, so deep and wild
To say to me, “Well done, my child."
