Greetings everyone and welcome
to my little piece of cyberspace! My name is Pete and I am
originally from one of the greatest cities in the world, St. John's,
Newfoundland, Canada. Many of you may know me as Newfie Pete from
POWWOW or the WBS chat room in Canadian Chat or the Hot Tub! If you are not from North America and you have never heard of a Newfie, that is a person from my home province of Newfoundland - Get it, a Newfie!!
For those browsing, I just turned 28
years old and right now I am based with my work
in Sydney Australia so I am a Canadian - Aussie - Newfie!
(Just not as many of those around anymore as there use to be)
ANYWAY......... I digress with
an attempt at humor!! I work as an airline pilot in and one of the quirks of the job
is I get a chance to fly around the world about 2-3 times a
month and it gets me to some great places where I meet up with some
really super great people!
Although I get back to Canada
pretty regularly I have been living away from my family and friends
now for about a year and a half and since all of my best friends and
parents are home, I get pretty homesick and wish I was back there as
much as I can!!
