Coloma Wrestling
1999 Coloma Varsity Wrestling team coached by
Dick Becht and assistant coachs Tom Mrtnick and Rob Delatorie are having
a good year. The wrestlers went undefeated at the Three Rivers tournament,
sucessfully beat Cass in a county meet. Aurbery Watson had an excellent
match with a Cass state qualifier Zach Stratton. The guys have also suffered
a few defeats so far in the season losing to Dowajiac and Lakeshore. One
a good note though our guys took second in the individual county tournament,
with Matt Fryling and Brian Barrick taking first. Other placers included
Eric Balsis, Jeremy Thelie, Steve Wooley, Aurbery Watson, Todd Pena.
