San Francisco 49ers

Of all sports teams I admire, the 49ers are my first love. This is probably because they have been great for the majority of my life. I have had little to dislike. My current favorite players include Dana Stubblefield, Lee Woodall, and Jerry Rice. Being a Niner fan entails a hatred for the trendy Dallas Cowboys and for the rest of the NFC West (South).

The antithesis of the 49ers, the Warriors have been a major source of pain in my sports life. They are my chosen basketball team, however, and I will live through the bad in hopes for a brighter day. My favorite players currently on the team (roster stability is not a Warrior strong point) are Joe Smith and Latrell Sprewell. Unsatisified by my own team, I also follow the Hawks and the Rockets. I worship post players like Dikembe Mutombo, Hakeem Olajuwan, and Charles Barkley, and admire my namesake, Mookie Blaylock.
