Kate - or "Kiat" as she prefers. She can prefer
all she likes, but I am definitely not going to change. First got to know
her in the kitchen's of Hailsham House. Can you believe it, we were
discussing the Law programme!! Urgh. Never really got to know her till she
moved into 49 Nelson Street with Allan.
We (Hui Ling, Allan, Kate and I) soon became the infamous "gang of four". Infamy stemming from the fact that we seemed to prefer the company of the non-Malaysians to Malaysians. Kate and I have gone through thick and thin. Yup, we have come a long
way since we first me… miss her, and early morning visits. She's back home, a trial lawyer now. And also married. Oh boy. I'm a bit slow off the mark here… Still. Her marriage and career has not stopped her going off for holidays whenever she feels like it! |
