Hi everyone. This is my first ever entry into my new journal. So, what have I been up to? I finally got my brace taken off my teeth yesterday having worn it for just over a year. I am so pleased to have it off, and loads of people say I look much better. I don't want to appear vain but everytime I go past a mirror I have to check that I don't have a big silver brace on my teeth and that I'm really dreaming everything. I have to go back to the dentist next Tuesday to remove the cement which is still on my teeth and to get my retainer. Although I have another brace for another six months, it's a removable one so at least I can take it out if I want to.

This afternoon I went shopping with my friend Danielle. I didn't buy anything interesting just some pyjamas which I've been looking for. Dani bought a lovely top and necklace. Tonight after typing this I'll probably just watch some television.

I'm doing a car boot sale on Saturday. I did one last Sunday with my dad and made £35! It was really good fun. I'd just had a big clearout of all my junk and I was so surprised that people actually wanted to buy it. I hope I make lots more money this weekend.

I bought a magazine earlier today and there was a list of '16 things to do before you're 16'. Well I'm 16 on the 18th August *hint hint to all my friends* so I better get started on the list. I've already done some of them, but I'd quite like to get them all done. I'd feel a sense of achievement.

Hello! I've just returned home for an attic sale where I made lots of money - £45, not bad for a few hours work. I got rid of loads of junk which was really good. My sister Vicky who is home for the weekend, said that she's like to do another with me so we hope to go to another sale in about 3 weeks. I'm telling you, if you're short of cash and have loads of junk, car boot sales are the way forward. You can make loads of money by hardly doing anything. Even if you just sell things for 20p it all adds up!

Anyway enough about that. I start on a week course on Monday. It's called an Assistant Swimming Teaching course and if I pass I'll be able to help teach swimming. I already help every sunday at my swimming club, but if I pass the course at least I'll have something to tell people if they ask if I'm qualified or not.

I've just given two people by wonderful award. I actually haven't given it out for ages, but I've decided to start again as I want to advertise my page more. Please remember to sign the guestbook everyone - I check it frequently but there are still only 217 entries. I really appreciate all your comments.

Better finish here as my mum is asking me to tidy the living room as she's having a dinner party tonight. Thankfully I'm going out with my sister and friends. See you soon.
