Seperating Pictures from E-mails

Do you have a scanned photo that was e-mailed to you? Do you want to get rid of that e-mail and bring the photo up by itself? Well, here is a simple way to do it using your WebTV.

For starters, you are going to need to do a few things. First of all, you are going to need webspace. Geocities and Tripod offer free webspace, and there are many other places. Choose one that best suits you. You need the space because you will need to transload the photo after you seperate it from your mail. Secondly, you need to sign up for a free e-mail account at WWW.EUDORAMAIL.COM. This is where the "seperating" will take place. Last but not least, you need to have the transloader stored on one of your F-keys. That way, after you have your photo on the screen by itself, you can hit your F-key and go directly to the transloader with the "last URL visited" already filled in for you. OK, you have all this done! Now you are ready to seperate that photo from your mail.

#1. Go to your WebTV mailbox and forward the email to your Eudora e-mail account.

#2. Go log-in at Eudora. Be sure to mark the "NON-FRAMES" option. Now you can hit enter. Sometimes it takes a bit for the mail to get there. If it is not in your box yet, log out and check back in a few minutes.

#3. Go to the mail you just forwarded to Eudora, click on it to open.

#4. After you have opened your mail, you will see some buttons at the very top above your mail. Click on the one that says "do".

#5. After you hit the button that says "do", it will bring up a list. This is everything in the e-mail that you sent. It has broken everything down. Now look for the name of the photo or an ending that says "JPG" or "JPEG".

#6. After you find the name, click on it. This will bring the photo up by itself on a black background. You have now seperated your photo from your original e-mail!

#7. Now, hit your F-key that has the transloader stored on it. Then transload it! You are now finished and your photo has it's own address.

Pretty good trick I think! Good Luck!
