The Banks of Loreley, Rhine Valley

Driving North along the Rhine River, we came to the village of Rudesheim. From there, we were able to take a ferry ride, along the spectacular Rhine River, to the banks of Loreley. Legend has it, there lived a Nymph, who with a beautiful lyrical voice, lured fisherman to their deaths- the passage being narrowed, at this part of the River to only 125yards/113meters.
