In other news, Dre has decided to change is new album from "The Chronic 2000" to a new name. Snoop's first single did not come out on time. I think it's because his song and YGD's song sound the exact same. This is all because of Death Row's biting. If they would come up with something original, instead of stealing everybody elses, they might have some success.

What's the dealio. Check out this small article on MTV.com from Snoop that confirms the rumours of some very impressive guest appearances.

Here is the official track listing for Death Row's "Chronic 2000" from CDNow. As far as I'm concerned, this is a blatant rip off of Dr Dre's idea. It looks like Suge is still pissed at Dre, and he wants to try to jack some of the market. I'm sure it's just some old stuff that didn't make it onto previous albums. DRHQ just reported that this listing is not accurate, and Dre has been completely taken off the album. More to come on this soon.

There has been a lot of news in the LBC in the last month. Most of it surrounding the problems between Death Row and The Aftermath. Dre is set to release his "The Chronic 2000" with guests Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Warren G, Ice Cube, Eminem, Outkast,The Lady of Rage, etc... This is great news for rap fans. However, Death Row has decided to release their own Chronic, "Death Row The Chronic 2000" on the same date. With classic appearances from Dre and Snoop, with all of Death Row's new talent. The first single from this album will be "Rat-tat-tat-tat", a remake of the song on the original Chronic. I'm not sure how this will affect Dre's release, what I do know is that hip-hop fans are in for a real treat in the next few months. Not only are the two Chronic albums coming out soon, but Snoop Dogg - "Top Dogg" is set for a May 11th release date, and Snoop promises that this will be the real follow up to Doggystyle, and it'll give the world the sound it's been fiendin for!
