Season 2
18. The Race- Michaela is angered when she is forbidden to ride in a horse race and her attempts to diagnose one of the racers are rebuffed by another doctor.
19. Sanctuary- Dorothy comes to town after she leaves her abusive husband. When he is found dead, she must stand trial for his murder.
20. Halloween- Michaela is haunted by visions of Abigail, Sully's dead wife, and Sully is confused when Michaela refuses to let him make repairs on the homestead.
21. The Incident- Sully and Michaela search for the truth when a Cheyenne brave is shot by Jake.
22. Saving Souls- Kid Cole falls in love with Sister Ruth, a missionary, and Dr. Mike does not like the situation. Grace and Robert E. plan to marry.
23. Where the Heart is- Michaela travels to Boston when her mother becomes ill and Sully follows his dreams and goes after her. He soon learns that a doctor is interested in Michaela.
24. Giving Thanks- Thanksgiving goodwill dries up in the drought stricken town while Michaela and Sully begin to cultivate their relationship by searching for common ground.
25. Best Friends- Dorothy shows symptoms of menopause while Colleen is interested in the new boy at school. As the Sweet Heart Dance approaches, Michaela suspects that Dorothy and Sully are having an affair.
26. Sully's Choice- When Michaela is away treating an influenza outbreak, Sully watches the homestead and children for her, but he is shot and hunted for fighting with renegade Indians.
27. A Christmas Tale- Michaela envisions her Christmases past, present, and future while attending to a young woman in labor.
28. Crossing the Line- When Matthew needs money, he crosses the picket line of striking miners and is injured in a deadly explosion.
29. The Offering- Michaela feels responsible for an outbreak of typhus when she encourages the Indians to accept Army blankets infected with the disease.
30. The Circus- The circus comes to town and the townspeople participate and Dr. Mike tries to help a disfigured girl in the circus.
31. Another Woman- A white woman living among the Indians is found and she quickly becomes attached to Sully. Because of this, Michaela ends their relationship.
32. The Orphan Train- While Michaela and the Reverend take care of a group of orphans, Brian, Colleen, and Sully feel neglected. The Reverend proposes to Dr. Mike so that they may take in the homeless orphans.
33. The Buffalo Soldiers- Michaela takes care of a group of soldiers at the clinic while she secretly is getting information on their attack on the Indians.
34. Luck of the Draw- When Matthew needs money, he decides to take up high-stakes poker, but ends up losing almost everything.
35. Life and Death- Dorothy's war-hero son returns and it is discovered that he has a morphine addiction which causes problems for Michaela and her family.
36. The First Circle- The KKK comes to town when Grace and Robert E. buy a house in town.
37. Just One Lullaby- Reverend Johnson is in love with the new school teacher, but Michaela feels that she is abusing the children.
38. The Abduction- When Michaela is kidnaped by dog soldiers, Sully risks everything to save her and to set the Indians being held by Custer free.
39. The Campaign- Michaela runs against Jake in a heated battle for mayor.
40. The Man in the Moon- Myra finally leaves Hank, but when he is hurt in fight, she is the only one who seems to care.
41. Return Engagement- Sully and Michaela get engaged, but the arrival of Michaela's former finance causes complications.
