If you haven't noticed, the world likes to make life easier with the concept of abbreviation. Or should I say, abbr. We call people named Christopher's or Christian's "Chris", we call Jonathan's "Jon" or Michael's "Mike". Which is sensible, right? But THEN, we have the weirdo's named Robert that we call "Bob", the William's "Bill" and the Richard's "Dick". How the heck do you derive Dick from Richard? Why would you ever name your child Dick? Can someone please tell me because this is very mid-boggling. And here's a question: What's the abbreviation for the infamous Lil' Richard?
