..Cha-Ching!...
You know what word America loves? The word "free". But some people don't believe it exists. Who said nothing in life was free?
Yesterday after my last final and a stressful week, me and my friend were sittin in the cafeteria with empty stomachs. The cafeteria wasn't selling their rat meat, spoiled milk and fly cookies at the time and we didn't have much money. So we dug up the change and food stamps we had and went on our way to the vending machines. We had exactly $1.50 worth of change, enough to buy one coke and a bag of cheetos with 45 cents left. I asked this guy for another nickel so we can add more to our delicious feast, so if you calculate it, I had exactly 50 cents! I put in the coins and the vending machine read 70 cents. I was like, "Hold up! My calculations said I put in 50, not 70." And then I realized, "Hey, that's a good thing!" So I press E3 for those yummy shock tarts. I reach into the change box for what should have been 2 dimes. Instead, there were 2 quarters! So I thought, "Maybe the person before me accidently put an extra 20 cents into the vending machine and forgot to pick up his two quarters in the change box." But that would be ridiculous right? So I ignore my funky thought and said, "Hey, that's a good thing!" I decided to press F2 because now I was craving for fruit snacks. But actually at this point, I was craving for everything. And guess what? That's right, another two quarters and two dimes came out! I thought..."Hey, hey, hey, this is a really REALLY good thing!" So I decide that I want to try those new crispy M&M's, and another 70 cents change comes out! At the same time I couldn't stop laughing because I felt like I was in heaven. It was like I was winning on slot machines at Vegas. The people in the same room must've thought I was crazy because I kept getting more and more food and at the same time dying of laughter. Little did they know what they were missing out on. FREE FOOD! Who passes on free food? So not only do I try those new crispy M&M's, but I get my brother his favorite peanut butter M&M's and also a bag of Famous Amos cookies, chocolate wafers, Honey and Mustard Chips, skittles, the list goes on. We had to stop at one point because hey, this was a good thing and we couldn't make it obvious before we get caught. We came in the room with starving stomachs and $1.50, and we came out of the room with two bags stuffed with high cholesterol food with 70 cents to spare. Oh yeah...can't forget about that stomach ache later on that day.
