On the Inside or the Outside? Neither!
When will the time come that I have to stop hearing people say this? I am so sick of hearing "It's not what's on the outside that counts, but it's the inside." This is so not true in many respects! Who ever concluded that pretty people are mean because they are mean and that ugly people are nice because they are nice was the stupidest person that ever lived. In my fifteen years, I have found that people that aren't content with the way they look are not nice at all really, they are mean and negative. They blame the world and then say they are the nicest person ever because it's what's on the inside that counts. Well if you're ugly and mean, then you're out of luck. But also, why is it that pretty girls are suppose to be some kind are evil creatures that have no respect for human life and are the rudest people ever? This is so not true too! What's wrong with being cute? What's wrong with being skinny and wearing makeup and looking nice? That automatically makes you a mean, awful person? If I have to hear one more person say that it's what's on the inside that counts, I think I'm going to puke. Pretty girls are actually nicer then ugly girls in my opinion.
For example, a certain goat person I know is like this, completely. She doesn't go around proclaiming that it's what's on the inside that counts, but she totally falls under that mean and ugly category. Because of her low self esteem, she has back stabbed ALL of her friends, and is left with nobody! Nobody can ever tell me that she is a sweet person, because she is not. She's a ugly and mean person. She talked about her friends behind her back about how much better looking she was and never stopped complaining about how she looked. I don't know about you, but this really got on my nerves.
If I think that I'm pretty, which is not something I just sit around and think about, or whatever, does that automatically make me a bad person? Can't I be a fun person to be around too? Can't I be just as enjoyable as a ugly nice person?
I know there are the exceptions, the people who do walk around like they are better then everyone else, though I've only met a few people like that and I wanted to kill them...and then there are the nice ugly people. But there is all those people who are in the middle of this, and you have to respect that just because a person is ugly, that doesn't make them all nice, and just because a person is pretty that does not make them mean. It's who a person is that counts, not either on the inside nor the outside.
