TardisThe Doctor Who Page

Animated Logo I have been a fan of the Doctor's travels for many years. I can remember the time when the monsters were obviously made up from egg-boxes and papier-maché and that Fanny Craddock (one of the first TV cooks!) was far more frightening than either the Daleks or the Cybermen!

My favourite Doctor was Tom Baker, he brought a sense of eccentricity right from his first appearance in Robot with this tall, strange character with an incredibly long scarf offering 'jelly babies' to both his friends and foes.

My favourite assistants are Leela (Loise Jameson) who demonstrated that a window cleaner's chamois could be a great fashion accessory, and promptly became a big hit with most of the male viewers!, Nyssa (Sarah Sutton), who in her last adventure (whose title escapes me!) nearly gets all her kit off!, and last but by no means least Peri (Nicola Bryant), despite the fake American accent she was a well developed actress, check out the Doctor Who special 'Dimensions In Time' which was done a few years ago for BBC's 'Children In Need' appeal and you'll see what I mean!

Among my favourite stories are The Ark in Space, The Brain of Morbius, The Robots of Death & Rememberance Of The Daleks.
