Comments:
Perhaps the author was trying to think "original" when she wrote this book. To me, it seemed to come off as "bizarre." It is too full of death for my taste. The first sentence of the book begins, "The first one to die was..." The enemy is strange, disgusting, bizarre, and unrealistic. Although Leia acts cleverly, Han's part is strange, and so is the droids'. The enemies' backgrounds are not explained well, either. The aspects of the Force on the planet on which this book takes place are, once again, bizarre. And, there is yet another weapon of mass destruction! How many times must that aspect be recycled throughout novel plots? All this and only a bittersweet ending. (And Daala (an Imperial character) gets the the sweet part!)

I give this book the title: Most Likely to have readers asking, "How did Lucasfilm let this one slip through???"
