MARQUETTE INTERCHANGE CONSTRUCTION TOUR

Join fellow Branch members and their guests for a tour of Wisconsin DOT’s Marquette Interchange project, in downtown Milwaukee. The tour will be hosted by Bob Hubing of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, and will involve a multi-stop bus tour of the project, with opportunities to get out and get a close look at some of the many exciting parts of the project. Details of the tour are not available at this time, as it will depend on what is happening at the time, but the tour will provide a fantastic look at the overall construction process, with elements at various stages of completion.

Following the tour, we will return to Potawatomi Bingo and Casino for a buffet dinner and perhaps a bit of gambling (must be 18 years or older). The tour will assemble at the Potawatomi Bingo Parking lot, with a prompt departure (in a school bus) for the Project Office at 5:00, where we will pick up Bob and begin the tour. There may be a limited number of hard hats available for the tour, so please bring your own if you have one, plus suitable clothes for walking through an active construction site (no open toed shoes). Don’t miss this unique opportunity to get an up-close look at this exciting and challenging project.
