What Is The Jazz Creation Station
The Jazz Creation Station (JCS) is the powerfull tool used to create all of the levels in Jazz Jackrabbit 2. This software allows you to either edit existing Jazz2 files, or make your own from scratch.

What Can JCS Do
Everything you see in any Jazz Jackrabbit 2, you can do yourself with JCS. It allows complete control over almost every aspect of your levels. You can set everything from the tile sets, backgrounds, and animations, right down to the music file playing in the background. With the exception of the characters and weapons, everything is completely up to you.

How Do I Use It
With all of its features and functionality, you'ld think it would take weeks just to get the basics of JCS. Actualy, nothing could be further from the truth. Epic MegaGames has made the Jazz Creation Station so user friendly, even those who haven't even dabbled in level editing can make any level they want. It's easy interface allows you to easily place graphics and customize events.

How Can I Get It
All you have to do to get the Jazz Creation Station is buy the registered version of Jazz Jackrabbit 2. It's shipped absolutely free with Jazz2. The shareware version of Jazz2 will not, however, be able to use any levels made with JCS. You'll have to pay up to get the most out of Jazz2.

What About Party Mode
The Jazz Creation Station allows you to create single player levels, as well as all 4 Party Mode levels. It's as easy as placing starting points for multiple players. If that's not enough, you can link your levels together to create an entire episode. The Jazz Creation Station is probably the most powerfull part of the Jazz2 package.

What Are Tile Sets
Tile sets are simply a group of related images to be used in creating Jazz2 levels. Each level can use any number of tile sets. One tile set would contain a background image, images making up the ground, walls, and other parts of the landscape, and everything else in a Jazz2 level. You can either use the same tile sets as the registered Jazz2 levels, or you can create your own from scratch. The JCS supports file types of .ANM, .LBM, .BMP and .PCX for importing images into a tile set.

What, There's More
The Jazz Creation Station allows you to edit all 8 layers of your Jazz2 levels. With the editor's multiple-frame interface, you can see several different views of you level at once. You can view the entire level as it would look in the game, or you can view each individual layer for more precise editing. The JCS also comes complete with full documentation in HTML format. Everything you need to create amazing Jazz2 levels is right at your fingertips.
