Cordelia Chase is the "fair-weather-friend" of the group. She is usually only nice to Buffy and her friends when it suits her own needs. However, she has started to come around since she began dating Xander and now regularly helps the group fight the evil and demons of Sunnydale. She and Xander have had an on again off again relationship which has recently started to become more serious.
