The Poetry Library

About three years ago I fell in love for the first time, with this most amazing girl, refered to as Juliet in one of my poems, but it was only a one-way thing. She only liked me as a friend. To help me to cope with the stress of unreturned love one of my good friends and confidant suggested that as a way to stop me bottling up my feelings I should try letting out my feelings into a poem.

Over the peroid since I wrote the first one everytime I have had a lot going on that I needed to express somehow I have written a poem. Many are about my feelings for Juliet but the more recent ones aren't. A background to some of the poems is avalible here. This page can also be reached from every poem that has background.

That's all of an introduction that really needs to be given because if you read any of the poems you will get a much better idea of my feelings.

Why put them on the web?

To be honest I'm not really sure. I'm not embarrassed by my feelings or the fact I write poetry but I'm not sure why I want complete strangers to be reading them. However I have become a poet and want to try to promote poetry on the web so if anyone has any poems they would like me to include on this site please feel free to email them to me at Kay_Vee@Geocities.Com.
