Walt Disney Heroines
Snow White is the sweetest princess the Disney
producers ever came up with. She is beautiful, diligent, and hard-working.
She is gentle and kind to those who are most in
need of her kindness. But her life temporarily goes to ruins when her father
marries an evil woman and dies. The stepmother sends a hunter to kill Snow
White in the forest. But the hunter is one of those people whom Snow White shows
her extreme kindness and can't bear to kill her. Instead, he tells her to run
into the forest and never return. Snow White chances upon a dwarfs' house and
there she stays. She is safe there until the stepmother finds out that Snow White
is still alive. She sets out to kill her herself but after tumultous war
between the women, the stepmother dies and Snow White marries her Prince
Charming who rescued her.
Alice is the ideal child. She is an errant, stubborn,
and a very curious girl. Because of these, she gets herself in trouble. There begins
her unforgettable adventure in Wonderland...how she found sensibility in a land of
nonsense. Like all other stories, this ends out fine...she was dreaming the whole
time!!
Briar Rose/Aurora/Sleeping Beauty This is the memorable
tale of a beautiful princess named Aurora (better known as Sleeping Beauty) who fell
in a deep sleep for a hundred years and wakened by her Prince Charming. When Aurora
was a new-born, the evil Malificent sentenced her to die on her 16th birthday. But
the spell was softened to a hundred years of sleep by a good fairy. The king and
queen feared for their child's life and did all they could to avoid such from
happenning. But the spell was inevitable. Aurora fell into a deep sleep and was
awakened a century later by the kiss of true love.
Cinderella is the best exaple of your
fairy-tale princess. She is a beautiful, gentle and kind woman who deserves
all the things anyone would need. But she is deprived of what is rightfully
hers because of her evil stepmother, Lady Tremain and her equally evil
stepdaughters, Anastasia and Drizzella. When invited to a royal ball, she
meets her Prince Charming. The two soon fall in love with each other. After
some thrilling accidents and incindents, the couple live happily ever after.
Ariel is the ideal princess. She is very different
from the other heroines. She lives under the sea. An adventurous young woman, Ariel
is sixteen years old, a mermaid...and not just any at that. She's a mermaid princess,
the daughter of King Triton, the Sea King. She is not happy where she is. She'd like
to be part of another world--the human world. She goes to the Sea Witch, Ursula, for
help. She agrees to become human in exchange for her voice. Ariel signs a pact with
Ursula. She is whisked to the earth as her tail becomes legs. The princess soon
meets the prince and they fall in love with each other. But Ursula is not happy
when she finds out about this. She does all she can to stop the two lovers from
being together. But all her plans fail as the prince and Ariel find that their love
is strong enough to fight even the most wicked of plans.
Belle Bookish Belle is a woman out of the ordinary. She was
different and did not succumb to the petty fantasies of women her age.
Jasmine is a tenacious young princess. She, like Ariel,
longs for something different. She longs to be free. She want to be a commoner and
not a princess who has to follow every law, whether she likes it or not. But one day,
Princess Jasmine escapes the palace walls. There she finds a world so different from hers.
She cannot survive on her own. Lucky for her, the streetwise Aladdin helped her. The two
fall in love but Jasmine realizes that it is illegal. After trying incidents, the two find
out that love is binding--no matter what you do, true love will bring you together.
Pocahontas is a headstrong young woman. She dared to defy the
traditions of her tribe to follow the cries of her heart. There has never been a woman as
great as Pocahontas and a love as that of hers and Captain John Smith.
Esmeralda is a gypsy in France. She is a tencious woman who would do
anything to accomplish peace and justice for her people. She is brave and extraordinarily
talented--one to capture the hearts of Phoebus and Quasimodo.
Megara is not your ordinary heroine. She is not innocent. In fact, she is the
accomplice of Hades to destruct Hercules--before she fell in love with him.
Along the story, we discover that she agreed to be
Hades' slave because of something that had hurt in the past.
Though she may have a rough
exterior, she is very kind and good in the interior.
