Did you ever think how come the Olympic Games are not held in Greece? Isn't the place where the games started good enough to continue this great idea? Imagine playing the "New York Games" in Moscow.. Here you can send a message to those big cahouns of the "Olympic" commitee. |
The Turks, call cities like Ephessos, Smyrna, Constandinopolis, and many more with strange names hoping we will forget Hellenic history of over 4,000 years. Some say it's time to forgive and forget. Let's get rid of all these little countries and have a New world order. But it is not their home that was burned, their farm their country that was taken. It is not their father , mother or family that was sluttered. Ask the Armenians, ask the Kurds, ask the Greeks. They know! |
The Chineese say that: "Immitation is the greatest flaterry" But to immitate is one thing and to steal is another! Not all that shines is gold. If the Yugoslavians or the Bulgarians or anyone else wishes to call themselves Macedonias, it doesn't mean that they are. Macedonias were Greek as the Athenians, the Corinthians or the Spartans were. (~50AD) by Jewish writers -in GREEK! The apostle
Paul wrote many letters, some were to the
Thessalonias some to those in Phillipi.
How come and he wrote to the Macedonians
in Greek? How come he wrote to all in
Greek? A Jew, in the Roman empire
communicating in Greek! Why? The answer
is simple and has a name:
Alexander the
Great!
Paul was living at the end of what has been called the "Hellenistic Period" as a result of Alexander's conquers (see map1). |
Those who question Macedonia's Greek identity fail to explain how a non-Greek (Alexander the Great) spread the Greek culture in the places that he conquered so, four handred years later Apostle Paul will use the Greek language. Is like Hittler conquering Europe and promoting French Culture....... Those who help this piracy of the Macedonian name, willingly or because of ingnorance, are guilty of counterfeiting history. |

The contributions of the Greeks in Philosophi, architecture, mathematics, literature, medicine, arts, politics, is unquestionable. If you like to learn more in these areas I have some interesting links. Also do not forget to see the collection of pictures.
I am very proud of my heritage. And besides everything else is a great place to visit (espesialy during the summer). I have enjoyed swimming in beautiful beaches, when we visit our relatives.
