This page contains classical music that I took from somewhere or arranged, and neoclassical music that I have written, newest songs on top. You're probably wondering what in the world neoclassical is. Well, what we know as classical music is actually divided into three parts: baroque, classical, and romantic. Baroque music was written between about 1600 and 1750, classical between about 1750 and 1825, and romantic between about 1825 and 1900. Since none of the songs that I wrote were written during that time, they are neoclassical, or new, but in the style of classical music. Now that wasn't so bad, was it?

This was inspired by listening to "Canadian Brass in Berlin."

I nice little pavan that I wrote one night. A pavan is an English dance from about the 16th century. This is a chord progression I've become obsessed with. I still haven't done it full justice, but this is my best attempt yet.

Your basic four part chorale. It's in C.

The same song as before, but with a contrabass part.

My second attempt at a fugue. This one actually is a fugue, just a very short and simple one.

The beginning of a French dance from the 16th century. Basically, I took the melody and wrote a harmony.

The Sinfonia chorale. This is from a piece of music our band is playing.

A four part chorale in a-minor.

Adagio. This was inspired by Tomaso Albinoni's Adagio in G-minor. It's not near as good, however.

I like this song. It starts with a melody, and each chorus builds on that melody.

My attempt at a fugue. Notice I say attempt. It's not really a fugue, but it still sounds ok, and the ending sounds like it could be Bach on one of those huge pipe organs.

I wrote this one based on how the music looked, then edited it. I know, the ending doesn't really fit, but I think it sounds cool.

Elmer Fudd was singing this song one time while chasing Bugs Bunny, and I arranged it for a string quartet, and added a B section.

a brass quintet

This is a song I wrote in the style of a renaissance Saltarello.

A four part chorale. It sounds like a hymn.

A song of the Renaissance, by Tielman Susato. This is one of the best songs ever written.

Here is one of my favorite songs by Handel, and it's not the Hallelujah Chorus or the Royal Fireworks.
