Update: (7.5.2000)

Well the fiberglass cast is off (for a while now) and I'm into a brace. That may go next Wednesday when I see doctor M. It's strong enough to walk on thanks to lots of PT. Think by the end of the summer I'll be back on my bike for real riding? At least I hope so barring more surgery on the ligaments which were all shredded. I guess the surf thing - nice 'pitcha huh? - is out as there's still lots of swelling and lateral movement is a problem. Otherwise I'm ok and other things have measurably calmed down. I've got to make a concerted effort to clean the house as it's slid (guests are only allowed up to the front porch for fear of them contracting something from within). Looks like that will have to be my summer project. I put the Celebrity on the road this past Monday. When I opened the trunk the surfboard racks were there. I know their time will again come. For now hobbles on the boardwalk will have to do. I love LI.

Yes sir-ree Bob....jtraks is out of commission for 8 weeks or so. Fractured tibias will do that. This cast is itching....where's my coat hanger?!!!
