***DAY SIX ***

A Town that starts Ll (like they all do here) in North Wales

7:53 pm Welsh Time

Today was pretty uneventful. We left Dublin at 9:15 this morning on the Irish Ferry. We spent 4 hours going from Dublin to Holyhead, Wales. On our way to our hotel, we stopped in the town with the longest name in the world. We also stopped briefly stopped in Conwy (pronounced conaway) to see Conwy Castle. That's a pretty magnificent castle. Now we're in North Wales, but I don't remember the town's name. Our hotel is right on the ocean. It's pretty. Oh, this morning Emma, our tour director, told us that the hotel we stayed in Dublin (the La Touche hotel) is haunted by the ghost of Lady La Touche. She wanders the third floor at night knocking on doors. When she finally gets into a room (either by being let in or by walking through the wall) if your feet are uncovered, she'll tickle them. Hotel workers say they have seen and/or heard her. I thought that was fascinating.
