Who Am I?

Hello! My name is Denise Decena, aka as Denden to my closest friends. I'm 13 years old and I live in the Philippines.

I like the Internet. It's really interesting how small the world seems as soon as you get a phone, a computer, and an ISP. When my family was in the mall one day in April, my Dad said, "Let's get the Internet!" I was so excited. Only problem was that we had to wait for two long, agonizing days until our server activated our account.

Discovering the Internet, for me, was a step-by-step process. First, I learned how to use search engines. Next, I discovered how to open sites. Third, I found places where I could chat. That was the latest thing until my friend, Carmela Sogono taught me html one Friday night not too long ago. Right then and there, I fell in love with making one. I got so addicted, that when I got home later that evening I quickly switched on my computer and applied for a homestead at Geocities. It was so exciting. I had a little trouble getting started. I wasn't able to make a site quickly so I got kicked off this place so I had to apply for a new one. Good thing there were still vacant lots in the place I wanted--here! This is my home.
