Format:

User Friendly- Clear scope, easy to understand and use, includes appropriate, and clearly labeled links in the forms of icons, pictures, and words. (2 points)

Aesthetically Courteous- Graphics are quickly downloaded and relevant to astronomy and the text is large and colored so that it is easy to read. The background is subdued and coordinates with the graphics. (2 points)

Aesthetically Appealing- Attractive and fits the theme, astronomy. (2 points)

Content:

Credible- The information seems credible. I read over several of the fun facts and all of the information seemed correct based on my knowledge. (1 point)

Useful- The content is useful, the literature links are very helpful. There are pictures of the cover as well as short critiques of the books. (2 points)

Rich- The information is not real rich, there is not too much factual information on the site. However it is one that I might consider visiting again. (1 point)

Interdisciplinary- The site offers links and content that include many subjects. Storytelling, history, and literature links are included in the web site. (2 points)

Learning Process:

Higher order thinking- The site encourages learners to think however I am not sure how many higher order thinking skills are utilized. (1 point)

Engaging- The web site is very engaging, there are quizzes, and moving the mouse provides links and icons. (2 points)

Multiple Intelligences- I suppose that the site utilizes one or two intelligences, however I do not believe three or more are utilized, however I would have to spend more time analyzing links and such to make a more accurate statement. (1 point)
