Mystery ship?

I do not have much info on this issue, I feel it is way too debatable as a topic to deal with.
There is too much speculation as to why this ship did not respond to the rockets being
fired in the distance.
Ironic, which is what the Titanic should have been named, has fallen into this subject as well as any other...
for example, Who would ever imagine an event that could open 6 watertight compartments and cause the Titanic to sink? If Jack Phillips, Titanic's wireless operator had not been cut off by Cyril Evans, the Californian operator, would he have still been at his post when the titanic was in distress? I cannot argue the proximity of the Californian as was reported, though this can be argued by the fact that crewmembers saw rockets about the same time the were being set off from the Titanic.
None the less, Captain Lord and his crew were made to be the scapegoats, when in fact it should'vebeen the British Board of Trade who failed to update their rules for ships growing larger in size.Requirements: Ships of 10,000 tons or more should carry at least 16 lifeboats. Titanic: over 5 times the required size.
