My name is Robin Glenn Blake. I am providing this short biography as an overview of my life. The accompanying pages on this site go into more detail as to my likes, loves and dislikes and I invite you to view them all to find out who I am and what I am about.
I was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts
on October 17th, 1955, to my parents Parker Burnham Blake, Jr. and Marilyn Estelle Mosely Blake. Dwight D. Eisenhower was the President of the United States of America and would be followed by Presidents John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard M. Nixon, Gerald R. Ford, Jimmy E. Carter, Ronald W. Reagan, George H. W. Bush, William J. Clinton and George W. Bush.
I was the oldest of three children born to my parents. My brother, Mark Burnham Blake, was born on December 14th, 1957 in Morocco. My father was in the US Air Force and after our return to Westover Air Force Base, Massachusetts my sister, Tamara Lynn Blake, was born on October 18th, 1962.
In 1963, we were transferred to Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, California. I attended elementary school in Atwater at Bellevue School and Elmer Wood School. In 1965, we moved 3 miles down the road to Winton, California where I attended the remainder of elementary school and junior high school at Frank Sparkes School.
As a member of the Class of ’73, I attended and graduated from the home of the "Falcons", Atwater High School. During high school, I was involved mostly in the music program, but I did play some basketball and baseball. In my senior year I was the Drum Major of the Falcon Band. The band traveled to Vienna, Austria that year and became Champions of the World.
Upon returning from Vienna in the summer of 1973, I enlisted in the US Army as a Private in the Army Band Program. I served as a trumpet player for 10 years in the 28th Army Band and 
7th Infantry Division "Bayonet" Band at Fort Ord, California, 
3rd Infantry Division "MARNE" Band at Wurzburg, West Germany and 
1st Infantry Division "Big Red One" Band at Fort Riley, Kansas.
I also attended all of the courses at the Armed Forces School of Music at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base in Norfolk, Virginia. After achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, I returned to the School of Music to attend the Warrant Officer/Bandmaster course. Upon graduation in 1983, I was assigned as
Commander, 
2nd Armored Division "Hell On Wheels" Band at Fort Hood, Texas, and in 1987 as
Commander, 
6th Infantry Division Band at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
After completing the basic course at the School of Music, I married my high school sweetheart on June 14th, 1974. Christy Lee Underwood and I were steady partners for three years before we were married. Christy gave me two beautiful daughters. Heather Lee Blake was born at Fort Ord, California on October 26th, 1977 and Pamela Estelle Blake was born at Manhattan, Kansas on June 29th, 1981. Christy and I were divorced in March of 1989.
In April 1989, I resigned my commission in the US Army and married Deanna Sue Stephens Moore. Deanna gave me two wonderful sons. Adam Bradley Blake was born at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, California on April 5th, 1990 and Trevor Glenn Blake was born in Merced, California on July 28th, 1994. Deanna and I were divorced in August of 1997 after a 9 month separation.
I graduated from Central Texas College in 1989 with an Associate in General Studies degree.
In 1992, I graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. Since then I have worked as an apartment manager, car salesman and music teacher. I am currently Owner and Broker of Atwater-Merced Realty in Atwater, California.
I live in Winton, California where I have 50% custody of my sons. My brother lives in nearby Atwater, California, my sister in Merced, California, my mother in Merced, California and my father in Turlock, California. My daughters live about 120 miles away from here in the Monterey Bay area with their mother.
I serve on the Winton Municipal Advisory Council (Past-President), the Winton School District Budget Committee, the Frank Sparkes School Site Council (Past-Chairman), Castle Now & Beyond (Past-President) and the Merced County Association of Realtors (Past-President).
