Quatre Fantasy Quatre Fantasy is an anime cartoon fan site for that character. The owner makes all of her own graphics of this adorable male creature and really enjoys doing it -- I don't know how many pix are posted because I couldn't wait for them all to load, but there probably are over a dozen on the site! Some site designs include welcome and goodbye alerts, frames, nice original gif headers, and scripted blinds from the main page. I can "feel the love" on this one.

· Pajaros de Espana is a collection of ALL the birds of Spain, if you can believe that. How many birds are classified here? Well, 21 letters of the alphabet make up the Pajaros de Espana index, and the letter "A" alone has 52 entries -- with individual pictures. They are reclassified by scientific name, and once again by families. There is a clef symbol for those with WAV sound, no less. And finally, there is a full page of specifications on each bird. Design: a large embossed bird gif for background, a marquee on the main page, and frames for the families section. I am "amazed!"

Here's a Vietnam photo and story site with an "in your face" point of view: Marines of the 1/5/1 RVN. It's "just great" and I'm glad we're hearing this side of the story! The colors are strong and vivid, with nice scripts for page fades, Marines of the 151 RVN crosshair (very effective here), and side menu if you can make your way to Nick Warr's 'Errors and Omissions' page or Bulletin Board. The photos are raised, framed or made into collages; fine quality scanning. There are many promises of more to come and I hope that happens. I thank Greg Kraljev (Marines 151) and Westy (Photos from Vietnam) for sharing!

· The Polymath is the result of two amibitious Polymath DHMTL projects that I am unable to describe to you (go read the front page). To me, it is a fabulously outrageous display of DHTML. The cycling menu stops on mouseover and makes way for greater scripts. See scripts for up & down Scrollbars, a Rollover Image Script Generator, tiled Background Changer, Password Generator and Password Protector, Menu Generator and more. The DHTML Library includes a nice tutorial with many examples. This site is "very exciting."

Cateye's Design · This expansion site, Cateye's Little Backwoods Hideaway, holds "enormous promise" for more great design. There is a directory for 14 beautiful Solitaire Java applets onsite. The Remembrance page features a script that flashes selected e-rubbings from the Vietnam Memorial War, and a scrolling applet that pauses on mouseover. The graphics and backgrounds are exquisite. See the rest of the site here!

Just Javascript Just Javascript by Mike McGrath features original scripts only. While you have seen some of these scripts elsewhere, these have a little something special. The site is one page because each script is a new popup window -- nice touch. The mouseovers are very nice and the scripts are super, esp. Html Colors, Slab Scroller, Zoom, Active Order ... well, they all might as well be listed. Everything works, there is amazing organization, and illustrations are perfectly clear. I hope there is more coming from this "talented" programmer!

Star Baby Designs Star Baby Designs begins with a black and gold motif, so classy, and a mouseover menu script with customized graphics that is so appealing. The Site Map has mouseover color change. There are many original backgrounds and a couple scripted menus. Be sure to visit Star Baby's Aquarium applet and unusual Tropical Water Scene ... "very nice!" More, more, Adrienne!

Peniche La Felice Peniche La Felice highlights a restaurant barge (thank heavens for AltaVista translations!*) in Beziers, France with photos above board of diners and features, and below deck. Also see watercolors of Marie-Claude Laurent of Beziers featuring ... yes, the restaurant barge! See abstract painting collection and, under Other and Avaries, some amusing mouseover Shockwave, several relating to aquariums. "Enjoyable!"

Annabellas Kitchen I love a nice recipe site and there are too few well-done personal sites like this: Anabella's Kitchen. Thanks for the referral, Westy (Photos from Vietnam)! This one is beautifully designed with careful attention to format, resulting in a very pleasing layout. The recipes are a wide variety of staple dishes like fish and chips, spicy chicken with couscous, vanilla-raisin bread and, my personal favorite, lemon pudding cake, each on an easy-print page! Go on to the Index page for "excellent" cross-stitch and HTML help pages.

Terragen Landscapes You are invited to discover the indescribable beauty of Terragen Landscapes, such as these exquisite designs created by Katherine Lawson. Feel free to follow her extensive links list to learn about this complicated graphical technique. Be prepared for a new definition of awesome and to view an enormous collection. Go back to the index page for links to Katherine's beautiful free graphics and beadwork purses. "What a find!"

· Helene's Homepage If you were to travel A LOT (a couple months a year?) and have copious amounts of pictures, you would be well-advised to use a clean, easily-navigated design such as you would find at Helene's Homepage. Helene blends her own designs with commercial photo displays to bring you a sample of her collection of thoughts and photos. Visit this site to share the volunteer archaeological dig, two month stay in Hawaii, diary of Egyptian trip, 16 watercolors, charter sailing every summer and eclipse trips < whew! >. This quiet site is the home of one "very active" person!

Steve Horner Steve Horner writes poetry and programs, and designs an entertaining website, all very well and I'm glad I happened upon his site. Epigrams are scattered all over to partake if you desire. His poetry is very well presented, let's us see a little of him. Literary artistic experimentation in his journal is compelling and I would like to see more examples of what he can invent. Steve, "keep up the good work!"
