Best Ever Steak Fingers
What you'll need

2 pounds boneless lean beef cut into 1 inch strips

2 cups all purpose flour

2 eggs (beaten)

1/4 cup milk
-
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

2 teaspoons Salt
-
1 teaspoon Pepper
-
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
-
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
-
Pan for frying with cooking oil 1&1/2 inches deep
-
2 medium bowls
-
tongs
Directions
In one bowl mix flour, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder.
Set aside.
In the other bowl, beat eggs, add Worcestershire Sauce, mix well
then add milk*.
Heat oil to 375**
Dip meat strips into flour mixture***, then into eggs and milk then
back into flour mixture.
Shake off excess flour.
Carefully place strips into pan****. Cook to a golden brown.
Remove with tongs (forks let out juices)
Drain on paper towels
Yes, this is a messy recipe
It doesn't look like its easy, but it can be. It may take a time
or two to get the hang of it.
Serves, well I fix this to serve 5. But then its my family's favorite

*not sure why but the crust turns out better when done in this order.
**can be tested by putting a small amount of dough into pan, if it
floats to the top as soon as you drop it in its ready.
Be careful not to get your oil too hot it makes the strips dry and
tough. Too cool and they absorb oil.
Another test is a cube of bread, should be a golden brown in 1 minute.
***Dipping into the flour first helps hold the crust on
