unfortunate accident with a deer (2003)
As you can see I take good care of my 1999 Ford Ranger and since Ford screwed me over, i'm going to screw them over. During the summer of 2002 I drove to Charleston, WV. On the way back I found out my driveshaft had broken. Apparently this has happened on Ford Rangers before, but they wouldn't help me with the $500 bill. The same thing happened to me again in the summer of 2003 driving to Philadelphia, PA. The above pictures show some other minor problems with this vehicle. The bumper started peeling and the rims became pitted not long after I bought it. The air flow sensor went bad after 2 years and the alternator gave out in November '03 at around 65,000 miles. Also i'm sure the transmission will not last as long as intended due to my little driveshaft problem. My advice is to spend the little extra money and get yourself a Dodge Dakota.
