Only
time will heal the hurt and dry away the tears
Leaving
us with wonderful thoughts that will become dear.
His
thoughts and laughter, I remember so well
It
is no wonder he became such a good pal.
I
will treasure the time that I knew him, and all the fun we shared
He
had a way about him that he really.....truly cared.
There
was rivalry between us, but not what you would think
The
fun we had provoking one another, would make others shrink.
A
true blues fan, I’m talking footy of course,
Oh,
how one eyed he was, when referring to the mighty blues force.
Telling
me my Tigers, purred like toothless cats.
I
really will miss those funny weekly spats.
It’s
been a privilege and an honour to know this friend of mine
Something
I will treasure to the very end of time.
There
are many reasons why I will miss him so
But
know deep in my heart its time to let him go.
Its
time to say goodbye, to my dear and trusted friend.
A
sweet and loving gentleman, to the very end.
May
you rest in peace, and feel no more hurtful pain,
Enjoy
this freedom my friend, till we meet again.
Huuggss Neen.....
..do not stand
at my grave and weep
I
am not there, I do not sleep
I
am a thousand winds that blow
I
am the diamond glint on the snow
I
am the sunlight on ripened grain
I
am the gentle Autumn rain
When
you wake in the morning hush
I
am the swift uplifting rush
Of
quiet birds in circling flight
I
am the soft starlight at night
do
not stand at my grave and weep
I
am not there I do not sleep..
