Liz Drummond smacked her hand down on the pile of cards and cheered victoriously. "I won!" she shrieked gleefully, ignoring the stares from other people in the terminal.
Ally scowled, embarrased that she'd lost the game. "I let you win, you can't do it on your own" she growled.
Tiff looked up from her magazine and raised her eyebrows. "You take your cards waaay to seriously Al"
"Shut up!" Ally narrowed her eyes. "Atleast I'm not obsessing over some guy in a magazine. I can actually get some!"
"Yeah, for money" Liz laughed, but instantly stopped when Ally glared in her direction.
"Holy Al, chill out" Tiff told her friend incredulously.
"Bite me" Ally snapped.
Tiff and Liz exchanged glances. "PMS" Liz mouthed, and Tiff nodded, muffling a giggle.

Brette and Dana wandered around the airport nervously. "Uh, did we come from gate 17?" Dana asked weakly.
Brette shrugged helplessly. "It was something with a 2 in it, I think" she paused to think. "Or was that 22?"
Dana dropped her bags and reached for her purse. Grabbing the cell phone, she dialed quickly. "Tiff?" she asked.
"Yeah, it's me" Tiff's voice crackled through the phone. "Where are you guys? The plane leave's in like 1/2 an hour!"
"What gate are you guys at?" Dana asked as Brette streched her back.
There were a few muffled voices, then Tiff returned on the line. "84" she said. "We're at gate 84"
"84? Dana questioned, glancing around. "I see a gate eight, and I see a gate four, but no 84. Are you sure?"
"Yup! How could you guys have gone so far?"
Dana felt like crying. "I have no idea. Listen, I don't wanna use up this battery, it needs to be charged."
"Okay" Tiff finished, and Dana heard a click.
Brette looked at Dana, who bit her bottom lip anxiously. "We're screwed, aren't we?" Brette asked. Dana nodded. "The flight leave's in 30 minute's too. God, why did this have to happen now?" Brette picked up the backpack, and swung it over her shoulder.
"Umph!" A grunt came from behind her. Brette rolled her eyes.
"Perfect timing" she mumbled, and turned around. "Look, I'm sorry--" she stared at the two guys curiously. "What the hell are they doing?" Brette thought to herself. The two guys had dropped to their knee's, and were crawling around looking under all the seats. "Uh, can I...help you with something?"
The taller guy stood up. His dark glasses hid his eyes, but Brette knew a scowl when she saw one. "Yeah, actually you can, seeing as how it's your fault. His dog is gone, Tyke ran off when you hit us" the guy said with an icy voice.
"It's your fault for letting go of the leash" Brette shot back. She absolutely hated it when people were bitchy to her.
Dana stepped forward. "Listen, we'd love to help, but we've gotta get to gate 84, our plane leave's in about 25 minutes. You wouldn't happen to know where gate 84 was, now would you?"
"Yeah, we would" the tall one said, "We're on our way there, I can show you where it is." The girls mentally hi-fived. "IF" the guy continued. "IF you help us find the dog."
Dana's heart sank, and Brette wanted to burst into tears. "For fuck's sakes, of all the things to happen, we've gotta find a snotty little dog!" she whispered to Dana, who nodded depressively.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"Your choice" Nick said smugly, knowing that the girls had no other options.
"I guess" the brunnette reluctantly agreed. "What does he look like?"
Brian stood up a short distance away, holding a wiggly Tyke. "Got him" he called back, and the girls faces washed over with relief.
"Thank God" the shorter blonde breathed, and she picked up one of her bags. "Gate 84" she said pointedly, and Nick frowned. He'd wanted to see the rude bitches suffer.
"Why'd you have to find him, they could of gotten him for us?" Nick hissed at Brian when he returned.
"Cause they obviously have no idea where they're going" Brian told Nick softly as the girls gathered their bags. "And it's the nice thing to do...you know, you could try niceness every so often Nick, it make's it a hell of a lot easier to get a date. Unlike your method of the drunk fuck"
The blonde girl stood up and extended a hand. "I'm Dana Albeit...pleasure to meet you"
The guys's shook Dana's hand, and introduced themselves...not as themselves though. After that went by, everyone looked expectantly towards the short brunette. When there was no sound, Dana elbowed the scowling girl in the rib cage. Rolling her eye's, the brunette shoved a hand out.
"Brette Limberg" she said coldly.
Nick practically choked on his spit. "Brette Limberg?!" he gasped.
The girl nodded suspiciously. "The boy's got ears" she pointed out sarcastically. Since the tall guy had bitched at them, Brette had been put in a severely bad mood.
Brian looked at Nick curiously. "Uh, gate 84's this way...." Brian trailed off, staring at Nick. The guys started walking a few paces infront of the girls. "What the hell was that?" Brian hissed softly at Nick.
"I used to go to school with her!" Nick exclaimed. "She was the most beautiful, most popular girl in school, and I remember..." Nick had just started listing Brette's middle school assets when Brian interrupted.
"You had a crush on her, didn't you!" He teased accusingly.
Nick looked away. "No, apart from being that, she was an idiotic little blonde" he denied thickly.
"She's got brown hair" Brian retorted playfully, not understanding why his buddy was being so bitchy to the girls. 'After all' Brian mused 'They're kinda sexy.' He glanced over his shoulder, and watched to two girls as they walked along, giggling and talking. Dana looked up unexpectedly and caught Brian's eye. She smiled at him. He smiled at her, and slowed his pace 'till he was walking beside her. "You're obviously not from here" Brian grinned "So where ya from?"
"We're from Portland" Dana told him. "We're down here with my, well, our three other friends for this thing called MusiCruise 2000...four of us are singers in it, and Ally is a backup dancer for the groups that use dancers."
"You're in MusiCruise 2000?" Brian asked, surprised. She nodded. "So are we!" Brian exclaimed.
"Who are you, like what band?" Dana asked. Brian was trapped, and he knew it.
He lowered his voice, and turned to face the two girls. "I'm Brian, and that-" he gestured to the now sulking Nick, who was insulted that his best friend was walking with the girls...Brette Limberg, to be more exact. "That is Nick..." Brian glanced around quickly. "From the Backstreet Boys."
The two girls looked at eachother, then back at Brian. They burst out laughing. "No offense, but your a pathetic liar" Brette gasped. "I went to school with Nick Carter, he was nothing but a major pipsqueek of a loser!"
Dana joined in on the merriment and the two girls gasped and giggled as they walked, thoroughly disbelieving Brian. "Mmph! A bbbackstreet boy...helping us! As if!" she stuttered between giggles.
Brette finally managed to regulate her breathing. "Those guys must be so stuck up, with girls falling at them every few seconds going 'blow job, blow job!' " She brushed the tears of laughter away. "Thanks, I needed a good laugh!"
Brian's heart dropped. This was not the reaction he'd expected. "Yeah, good laugh" he said weakly, not feeling like protesting for the truth. 'Girls are harsh' Brian consoled himself quietly as Nick payed the Cinni-Bon worker for the coffee. The two giggling girls spotted the sign for gate 84.
"We're here!" shrieked Brette. Dana and Brette pulled the bags behind them, running for the gate. Brian watched depressively as they reunited with their other three friends. Nick passed him a coffee, and the two guys sipped their hot drinks, both sad for different reasons.
Brian because Brette and Dana made him feel like a retard; Nick because the first girl he'd ever asked out was here...the problem with that? She'd turned him down.
