The picture below here is my car, a Chrysler Woyanger made in the USA in 1990. The State has paid 237.000 Swedish money to make the car easier to get into with my wheelchair. I bought the car for a price of 137.000 Swedish currency and that I'm paying on every month.
The Chrysler factories are doing really good cars. My car doesn't take any kind of digital mobilphones inside the car. Last time I let that happen the fuel pump went broke in the middle of nowhere. That cost 5.000 Swedish currency.
Before that I had the Chrysler dealer to install an air conditioner in the car. So they did and the battery stopped working even though it was brand new and the company who sold the battery told me that this battery should last twice as long as regular batteries.
We drove for 6 hours from the southern part of Sweden and the charge meter showed it was working. We stopped for a snack and then we could not get the engine running again.
The tow truck worker who came to help us said to me, the battery is completely dead. The car insurance covered my home transportation and I had to pay 1.000 Swedish currency for that.
The workshop who took care of the car told me that never stop the engine until You are home because they have forgotten to put in a computer box in the car that regulates the engine together with the air conditioner.
I was rather sad by that time because the car had only 10.000 Swedish miles on the meter when the gearbox broke down, that cost me around 15.000 Swedish currency. Everything happened within 8 weeks.
Then comes a letter from the Chrysler shop saying I have to go to their garage in order to change the lock in the backdoor.
I wonder why this car was made.
Perhaps it was made on a Monday, because I have fixed the gearbox, the
petrol tank, new brakes all around, a new fuel pump, new headlights and
put on 4 extra lights. Then I have installed a radiophone that doesn't
disturb all the electricity in the car and also I have done a few things
more.
All together this is the best
piece of equipment that I have ever bought and just because it´s
my first car I have paid a heck of a lot in learning money.
Perhaps if this had been in the USA I could easily have gotten a new car from Chrysler but no I'm in Sweden. One good advice to those who have the same car as I do, check if You have the computer box under the hood. Or even more easy. if the car stops running when You hit the brakes for a red traficlight then You know what is missing and I will help You to get hold of those people who imported this car.
The more people we are that are going through the same trouble, the better. Make sure to become a member of the "Motormännens Riksförbund" in Sweden before You write to me about Your problems with the car.
