-February 18 2001- I was at the Keswick Theater outside of Philadelphia to see Buddy Guy, the four-time Grammy Award-winning blues guitar master. It was an amazing experience. I bet the whole audience was filled w/ musicians who love the blues. I looked around and saw everyone getting so into it, feeling the music, eyes closed and heads rolling with the piercing sound of Buddy's guitar. Twice he came out into the audience and played his polka-dotted fender. Once he just sat down in an empty seat with the people around him and the other time he came out and handed his guitar to a boy and let him play for a while. The whole time I was thinking...if only I were sitting over there...That would be so cool if I could have played his guitar. Oh well. Whoever that kid is is pretty lucky. However, I did go up and get Buddy's autograph. I have it hung up in my room w/ all my other posters and memorabilia. lol Too bad I didn't have a camera w/ me.
