EKG INTERPRETATION
EKG FINDINGS:
1. There is a QRS duration of 120msec at minimum; bpm is 186.
2. 150 degree far right axis; there are no signs of A-V dissociation.
3. The QRS in V1 shows a monophasic R wave.
INTERPRETATION: 90% specific for Ventricular Tachycardia.
JOE says,"Bones, lets try lidocaine and adenosine."
"Damnit JOE! I'm a physician, not a cardiologist!!," responds Bones.
"Do it Bones!" orders JOE.
"Alright!"...Bones shouts..."No change!" states Dr. McCOY.
"Ok...lets try sedation and cardioconversion at 100 joules" orders JOE.
"It's your call JOE; I'm staying out of this damn medieval medical experiment"...mumbles Bones.
JOE..."Fine...medication in...charging...Clear...everybody clear!!" (shock delivered)
JOE says "Look Bones...Normal, Sinus, Rythm..." *grins*
Dr. McCOY responds, "Where's a damn convenience bag?...I'll be in my office...damn caveman medicine..."
