SO WHO ARE THE FRAGGLES?!?!

GOBO!!

Gobo is the leader of the "Fraggle Five". It is not known exactly how he became leader, he just sort of got the job. Gobo is an explorer following in the footsteps of his Uncle Traveling Matt. As an explorer, Gobo posesses a great deal of courage and it's a good thing too. Every week, Gobo must venture out of Fraggle Rock into Doc's Workshop to pick up a postcard from his uncle. This would be no problem if it weren't for Doc's dog, Sprocket, who makes a hobby out of chasing Gobo whenever he sees him.

MOKEY!

Mokey is a dreamer, a poet, and an artist; she sees the beauty in the world around her. Mokey is slightly older then the rest of the "Fraggle Five" and is more sensitive to others' feelings, and even sometimes takes on the role of mother. Mokey is never too busy to help someone in trouble or in need of advice. It is Mokey's job to collect vegetables from the Gorg's garden which are the Fraggles' main source of food. She enjoys peace and quiet now and then but also knows how to have noisy and hyper Fragglish fun.

BOOBER

Unlike any other Fraggle, Boober loves the dull and tedious. His favorite thing to do is the laundry. In fact, it's his job in addition to cooking what Mokey brings from the garden. Boober hates fun and games, or at least, so he says. "when you laugh, germs can get right in your mouth". Boober is a worry wort, and being so has made him an expert on fear, disease, and the end of the world; he has imagined countless scenarios of impending doom. Even though his friends sometimes get annoyed by his constant worrying, Boober's knowledge comes in handy when disaster really does strike.

WEMBLEY

embley's name comes from the Fragglish word "Wemble", which means to have lots of trouble making a decision. He lives up to his name. Wembley is an easily confused Fraggle. He could spend an hour trying to decide which side of his bed to get out on even though there's only one side he can get out on. When it comes to friends, Wembley has no trouble at all deciding who his best friend is: Gobo. Wembley and Gobo share a seemingly unlikely friendship, one being a wembler, the other a leader adept in making decisions. They are inseparable. Wembley had trouble picking a job (no surprise there). All Fraggles are required to work 30 minutes a week. He finally decided to join the volunteer fire department, because he loves the sirens, ladders, and hoses. Upon joining, he discovered that he had a good screaming voice got the job of siren.

RED

You'll never find a more energetic Fraggle anywhere. Red never walks if she can run. Red is a tomboy, athlete, and daredevil, always pushing the envelope of Fraggle endurance. Even if her attempts of doing so land her flat on her face, she doesn't despair. As soon as she's able (and sometimes before), she'll try it again. As an athlete, Red lives for the thrill sport and the spirit of competition. She doesn't deal with defeat well, but it doesn't hold her down long. It only convinces her to try harder. Red is very wild and noisy, always in the mood for a party. Her favorite thing to do is swimming and to yell "Whoopie" in the middle of a spectacular dive or slide.
