4.  MARY LUCAS: Fourth child born to Andrew Lucas and Elizabeth
     Edwards.
     Born 14 Jun 1804 Coon/Coan, Dysart Parish, Co. Kilkenny, Ire.,
     died 21 Jul 1885, Warwick Twp., Lambton Co., Ont., On the
     12 Jan 1829 in Beckwith Twp., Lanark Co., Ont., she married
     ELISHA TOMPKINS, born 1807, died 30 Aug 1900.
     Both buried United Church Cemetery, Warwick Village, Ont.
     They had 11 children. Robert, Elizabeth, Mary, Rosanna,
     Rebecca, Phoebe, Ann, Naomi, Martha, Caroline and Samuel.

     In 1851 they were on the SW 1/2 Lot 1 Con 3 Adelaide Twp.,
     Middlesex Co., Ont.  In 1861, they were still in Adelaide Twp.
     They then moved to Warwick Village Lambton Co., Ont.

     Elisha went from farm to farm with a threshing crew for a number
     of years.

1.  ROBERT TOMPKINS:  Born 1830, died 1873. On the 1 Dec 1863,
     he married Jane Gough, born 1844, died 1881.
     Both buried ??
     They had 3 children. Robert, Mary and Ann.

         (1)  ROBERT I. TOMPKINS: Born 1867, died 20 May 1948. In
               1893, he married Sarah Jane McNally, born 1865, died
               1935.
               Both buried Alvinston, Ont.
               They had at least 1 child. Daughter who married Basil
               Johnston.

          (2)  MARY OLIVIA TOMPKINS: Born 1869. She married
                Louis Larren.

          (3)  ANN JANE TOMPKINS:  Born 20 Aug 1870, Napier, Ont.,
                died 4 Dec 1933. On the 5 Sep 1892, she married John
                Field, born 25 Aug 1862, died 3 Nov 1928.
                Both buried Strathroy, Ont.
                They had 3 children. Mable, Ada and Evelyn.

2.  ELIZABETH TOMPKINS:  Born 27 Apr 1831, died 1900. On the
     18 Mar 1850 she married William Boddy, born 1826, Ireland
     (s/o Michael Boddy and Catherine ?).
     Both buried ??
     They had 9 children. Mary, Jean, Elisha, Rebecca, Rachel &
     Rosanna (Twins), Silas, Isiah and Chester.

    In 1852, they were living on W 1/2 Lot 1 Con 3 Adelaide Twp.,
    with Elizabeth's parents. They were still in Adelaide in 1861
    census.

    Nothing more is known of this family. It is believed they went to
    Sanilac Co., Mich., near Croswell. Elizabeth's Aunt Elizabeth
    Lucas, who was married to John Boddy lived in that area.

            (1)  MARY MARTHA BODDY:  Born 1851. She married Mr.
                  Tompkins.
                   Sister's obit of 1924, states living in Seattle, Wash.

            (2)  JANE BODDY:   Born 1853. Married Mr. Gough.
                   In 1924, living in Canada, likely Lambton Co., Ont.

            (3)  ELISHA BODDY:   Born 1855.
                  Not listed in sister's obit of 1924.

            (4)  REBECCA "Bessie" BODDY:  Born 1857, died 27 Nov
                  1924, Battle Creek, Mich. In 1890, she married William
                  Evans, born 1865, died 16 Apr 1912.
                  Recebba buried Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo, Mich.
                  William was buried in Oak Hill Mausoleum, Battle Creek, Mi.

                  Rebecca re-married 23 Apr 1917 to Louis L. Engleman, who
                  died 18 Oct 1925.

            (5)  RACHEL BODDY:   (Twin).  Born 1861. She married Mr.
                   Smith.
                   In 1924 lived in Sacramento, Calif.

            (6)  ROSANNA BODDY: (Twin).  Born 1861.
                  Not shown in the 1861 Adelaide Census with rest of family.

            (7)  SILAS BODDY:  Born 13 Jun 1865, Adelaide Twp., Ont.,
                  died 27 May 1934, Battle Creek, Mich. On the 18 Jan 1888
                  in Grayling, Mich., he married Lena Stella Buck, born 5 Jul
                  1870, died 5 Dec 1932. (d/o Hollaway S. Buck and Martha
                  Beebe).
                  Both buried Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek, Mich.
                  They had 5 children. Mabel, Harry, Ethel, Isabell and Lloyd.

            (8)  ISIAH "ALBERT" BODDY:  Born 11 Jan 1868, died 21 May
                  1960, Union City, Mich. On the 28 Sep 1889 in Grayling,
                  Mich., he married Dora Ingerson, born Sep 1870.
                  Albert buried Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Mich.
                  They had 3 children. Charles, Minnie and Whitney.

                  Albert re-married 16 Jun 1914 in Marshall, Mich., to Rose A.
                  Miller Davis, born 3 Jan 1883, Sherwood, Mich., died 10 Jun
                  1957.

            (9)  CHESTER BODDY:  Born 1870.
                  In 1924 lived in Los Angeles, Calif.

3.  MARY JANE TOMPKINS: Born 18 Feb 1834, died 27 Jun 1920,
     Portage la Prairie, Man. On the 24 Mar 1857, she married
     Thomas House Clark, born 13 Jun 1833, died 1916. (s/o John
     Clark and Frances "Fanny" House).
     Both buried Portage la Prairie, Man.
     They had 10 children. Emmeline, William, Esther, Eliza, Eli &
     Ira (Twins), Isabella, Deborah, Phoebe and Albert.

     Thomas came to Canada in 1835. In 1901 they lived Lot 25, Con 3
      Warwick, Twp., Ont.

          (1)  EMMELINE "Emily" CLARK:  Born 12 Aug 1857, died
                5 Jun 1934. On the 10 Jul 1883, she married Thomas
                Wesley Prout, born 1 Nov 1856, died 5 Sep 1918.
                (s/o Thomas Prout and Kitty Galsworthy).
                Both buried ??
                They had 10 children. John, Myrtle, Mabel, Ernest &
                Wilford (Twins), Gladys, Kitty, Aimee, Thomas and
                Vivian. 

            (2)  WILLIAM WESLEY CLARK:  Born 1858/1859. On the
                   8 Jan 1902, he married Elizabeth Aitken, born 11 Jan
                  1869, died 20 Jul 1949, Leamington, Essex Co., Ont.
                  Both buried ??.

           (3)  ESTHER ANN CLARK: Born 31 Mar 1861, died 18 Aug
                 1932, Souris, Man. She married Thomas Henry Collier.

                   1860.

           (4)  ELIZA  ALICE CLARK: Born 1862, Warwick Twp., Ont.

           (5)  ELI "Silas" CLARK:  (Twin). Born 1863. On the 2 Jul 1902,
                 he married  Annie Fair. (d/o Alexander Fair and Lillian
                 McMillan).
                 They had at least 2 children. Gordon and Russell.

                  At one time they lived in Leduce, Alta.

           (6)  IRA HAMILTON CLARK: (Twin). Born 1863. On the 4 May
                 1910, he married Winnifred Nash.

                 At one time they lived in Seattle, Wash.

           (7)  ISABELLA CLARK: Born 1866/1867 Warwick Twp., Ont.
                 She married William Collier. 

           (8)  DEBORAH MAZINA CLARK: Born 1868 Warwick Twp.,
                 Ont. She married Norman Wismer.

           (9)  PHOEBE MARIE CLARK: Born 1870 Warwick Twp., Ont.

           (10)  ALBERT ERNEST  THOMAS CLARK: Born 8 Oct 1874,
                   died 28 Nov 1963, Wynyard, Sask. On the 26 Aug 1896,
                   he married Zella A. Muxlow, born 18 Oct 1874, died
                   1943.
                    They had 6 children. Ernest, Mary, Charlotte, Arthur
                    and ???.

                   In 1901 in Warwick Twp., moving to Wynyard, Sask.,
                   in 1907 and in 1920, lived Allen, Sask.

                   Also show Zella's name as Agnes Zella Doan.

     Said to have died in infancy.

5.  REBECCA TOMPKINS: Born 1839/1840 Watford, Ont. On the
     6 Dec 1864, she married William Gough, born 1834, died 1865.

6.  PHOEBE TOMPKINS: Born 1843 Warwick Twp. In 1864, she
     married Joseph Smith, born 4 Nov 1844.

7.  ANN TOMPKINS: Born 4 Mar 1844, Warwick Twp., died 1868.
     On the 28 Dec 1866, she married John Livingston, born 1845,
     Scotland.

8.  NAOMI TOMPKINS: Born 9 Nov 1846, died 10 Apr 1921. On
     the 14 Oct 1862, she married John William Clark, born 1 Nov
     1834, Mich., died 28 Feb 1913.  (s/o William Clark and Hannah
     Linnel).
     Both buried United Church Cemetery, Sylvan, Ont.
     They had 12 children. Caroline, William, Mary, Oliver, Elisha,
     Martha, Hannah, Wellington, Robert, Florence, John and Charles.

     The 1901 census show Naomi born 9 Nov 1844.  John came to
     Canada in 1838.

         (1)  CAROLINE "Carrie" CLARK:  Born 12 Nov 1863/64, died
               18 Jul 1936. On the 9 Mar 1882, she married Arthur
               Randall, born 13 Nov 1858, died 16 Sep 1935. (s/o James
               Randall and Elizabeth Mary Morse).
               Both buried United Church Cemetery, Sylvan, Ont.
               They had 9 children. Olive, Elizabeth & Martha (Twins),
               Martha #2, John, Florence & ?? (Twins), Marjorie and
               Kenneth.

                Have been told there were 12 children, the others died
                at birth or infancy and names are not known.

          (2)  WILLIAM CLARK: Born 27 Jan 1866, died 1929. On the
                26 Mar 1891, he married Etta Murdy.

                 In 1921, lived in Jackson ?? (Wyoming, USA, or Ont
                 ??).

           (3)  MARY CLARK:   Born 7 Mar 1868, died in infancy.

           (4)  OLIVER CLARK:   Born 2 Apr 1869,  He married Jane
                 Minnie Bevines, born 28 May 1875, Birmingham, England.
                 (d/o Thomas Bevan and Annie Baker).
                 Both buried Biggar, Sask.
                 They had 5 children. Roy, Leila, Oliver, Alberta and ??.

           (5)  ELISHA B. CLARK: Born 24 May 1871, died 1939. On
                 the 6 Mar 1900, he married Blanche Louise Randall, born
                 27 Feb 1874, died 1939.   (d/o James Randall and
                 Elizabeth M. Morse).
                 Both buried Biggar, Sask.
                 They had at least 3 children. Ruby, William and Charles.

           (6)  MARTHA CLARK: Born 4 Dec 1873, died 1922, Port
                 Huron, Mich. On the 6 Feb 1894, she married David Kerr.

                 Martha re-married George Porter.

           (7)  HANNAH LAVINA CLARK: Born 29 Feb 1876, died 1898.
                 She married Walter Seed.

           (8)  WELLINGTON CLARK: Born 26 Jul 1878, died 15 Jun
                 1960.

         (10)  FLORENCE M. CLARK: Born 4 Oct 1882. On the 6 May
                 1902, she married John May.

                 Florence re-married 25 Nov 1921 to Francis Easton.
                 Lived Port Huron, Mich.

          (11)  JOHN THOMAS CLARK: Born 21 Apr 1887, died 21 Jun
                  1976. On the 4 Aug 1909, he married Florence Kerr, born
                  25 Nov 1894, died 2 Jan 1977.  (d/o Thomas Kerr and
                  Violet Uret Bryce).
                  Both buried Strathroy, Ont.
                  They had 11 children. Violet, Melvin, Dorothy, Ernest,
                  Mary, Gladys, Elmer, Bernice, Inez, Cecil and Keith.

          (12)  CHARLES L. CLARK: Born 6 May 1889, died 1973.
                  On the 16 Dec 1915, he married Mary Holmes, born
                  1887, died 1964.
                  Both buried Arkona, Ont.

9.  MARTHA TOMPKINS: Born 1848, died 6 Oct 1927. On the
     24 May 1867, she married William James Jariott, born 1845,
     died 1882.
     Both buried Watford, Ont.
     They had 5 children. Sarah, Robert, Mary, Son and Caroline.

     Martha re-married 27 Apr 1885 to a widower Edward Leach.

     Martha re-married in 1900 to a widower William Robert Field.

         (1)  SARAH JARIOTT: Born 1868, died 1899. She married
               Walter  Routley, born 31 Aug 1863, died 1 Nov 1941.
               (s/o Richard Routley and Mary Ann Collender).
               Both buried Watford, Ont.
               They had 4 children. Wilbert, Chester, Richard and Martha.

               Walter re-married Susan Yake, with whom he had
               2 children.

         (2)  ROBERT JARIOTT: Born 24 May 1874, died 30 Sep 1966.
               On the 14 Dec 1898, he married Isabella Muxlow, born
               18 Sep 1876, died 11 Jun 1960.
               Both buried Watford, Ont.
               They had 7 children. Gladys, Lily, Albert, Caroline, Robert,
               Dorothy and Wilbert.

         (3)  MARY ELIZABETH JARIOTT: Born 1877, died 7 Nov 1940.
               On the 12 Aug 1921, she married George Rumohr, born
               1873, died 1936.
               Both buried Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, Ont.
               They had no children.

         (5)  CAROLINE FLORA JARIOTT: Born 1880, died 28 Apr
               1972. She married Norman D. Thorner, born 2 Oct 1877,
               died 1959.

               Marjorie.
