Here we have some pics from the Glory days of yesteryear, yesterday and the present.

Without a doubt our most prestigious and glorious day came one sunny day in May 1967.

Jock Stein had gathered a home grown side that was able to compete and beat the best in Europe. The most exciting player on a team full of exciting players was without doubt Jimmy Johnstone, a master of the dribble and terroriser of defences.
The man upon who Stein built his team Billy McNeil"King Billy", an inspirational captain and one of the truly great Celtic men of all time. Stein, Johnstone, McNeil and the rest of the Lisbon Lions went on to win every trophy available to them in season '66-'67 and dominated Scottish football.

This was Celtic's Golden Age, when they feared no one and took victory and glory for granted. Recently however things haven't been so rosey, and the record of winning 2 trophies in 6 years between '89-'95 speaks for itself.

But last season with some new faces and a new coach, things looked to be back on track. A new team played exciting, attractive football winning both the League Cup and League

Whereas Stein's team was homegrown, Celtic now have a cosmopolitan side with such stars as Alan Stubbs, Morten Weighorst and fan-favourite Enrico "Rico" Annoni. But homegrown talent such as Scottish internationalists Craig Burley, Tommy Boyd and Player's Player of the Year Jackie McNamarra can still be found wearing the hoops.

And as the team has undergone a transformation, so has Celtic Park. Gone now is the most famous terracing in Britain, affectionately known as THE JUNGLE to be replaced with something majestic and worthy of the name PARADISE

And what of the future? Perhaps with everything looking so good, it may not be too long before we are enjoying scenes like these again. God only knows we've waited too long and suffered too much already!
