It is 3 o'clock past Midnight, on the Day of the Moon,
the 14th Day of the Month of the Sun, Year 317.
The Story of Jhenda the elf
Below is the original letter given to Jhenda - The Only Valheru Halfcat (Wild Cat) for the On Line Quest given by her at 3 o'clock after Noon, on the Day of the Deception, the 2nd Day of the Month of the Long Shadows, Year 313.
Being an elf that she was, she wanted to see the realm.
So she left her humble home to go in search of great adventures.
On one particular adventure she met up with a little girl selling
charms. Being the kind person that she was she puchased 2 particular
charms. Both being a cat claw amulet. Seeing that she wanted to see the
heights of a particular hill. So she put on her amulets and started to climb
being agile as she was and with the help of the magical charms she finally
reach the top.
An in the distance stood a lone tower. As she journeyed
towards the tower she saw signs of death and decay. Being a fearless adventurer
she journeyed onwards. At the entrance to the tower was an old rickety sign
'Death be unto all who enters the tower of Caldarium'
Not to be turned back she entered the tower. and found many books of
ancient magic and powers. A sudden cold camed into the tower and she shivered.
Walking over to the old fireplace she started to make a warm fire...
Then taking a thick dusty old book... she started to read... curiosity u see
took the better of her... and being so engrossed with the fine tales and great
magic the books held she didnt notice a ghostly image watching her..
and then... A voice echoed in her head... 'My My what have we here..'
as she turned around she noticed the ghost as a chill ran down her spine.
Fearing for her life she tried to leave but was held by a powerful spell
The Ghost stared at her and then said.. ' i have jus the right thing for
someone as curious as u..' the Ghost cast a powerful spell that turned her
into a cat. this was due to the amulet and the fact that all she could say
was 'Meoww' and because of her agility and curiosity.
And from that day was born the Great Jhenda the Only Half-Cat in the realms.
