Prologue
This is a unique world in many ways. Few people know why and how it happens, but it is constantly growing and expanding to all sides. Also this is the only known world that is flat. It is actually possible to stand at the edge of the world and look into the very matter of time and space. Another fascinating and quite unequaled thing about this world is the fact that it seems to be impossible to actually die in battle, or at least to remain dead for more than a few moments.
All these factors and countless others have persuaded my employer Scroogy Sage of Valhalla, to take some time and study this highly interesting world. The results of this study will be recorded by me in this tome for all to read. But now without further delay I give you the short, but remarkably eventful history of Valhalla.
