3/5/01--  Mike Benson (our bassist) is currently undergoing a very painful surgery, and will be recovering for the next two weeks.  We wish him very well, and that the surgery will make everything better.  If you'd like to send him a get well card, go here, and send him one, he'd really appreciate it  (Courtesy of his little sister, Caitlin Beland)

3/17/01--  A new band member has been added, Kristen Smith, a close friend of Sarah Miller.  We are glad to welcome her into our band.  We feel especially priveledged to have her talent.  She is very happy to be in XXAVE, and we're happy to have her....
We're having our first get together very soon...  this week!  Caitlin got her drumset (it's orange and glittery) and we're on our way!
5-2-01 Kristen Smith, our "Backup singer" has quit the band, due to the difference in age between the other band members.  She felt out of place, and that's fine, we accept that.  Now that OM is over, we can start meeting on a regular basis, to get geared up for the Playathon hopefully!  Caitlin's getting a newer drumset, WITH CYMBALS...

FORGE (a supporting band, favored by XXAVE) is performing the 5th of May, at FRANKIE'S at 308 Main Street,. Toledo, Ohio.  Doors open at 7, the concert is for ALL AGES.  More info?  call (419) 691-6474.

9-5-01 Our bassist quit, it was to be expected, and yes we were considering kicking him out, but Benson is a big supporter of XXAVE...  We're proud to welcome Cara Clark aboard, as our new bassist.  She played guitar, but switched (she was in a band, but gave it up for the offer with XXAVE) and we're getting prepared for the Bedford High School Showcase (large talent show) we're trying out the 11th of September, and we're scheduled to meet about everyday until then, a total of 14.5 hours, which are much needed for practice, to perfect the song we'll be performing:  Witch Hunter...  We even have an extremely hott fan listening to Witch Hunter over and over, and he even figured out the guitar part for it, and he played it for me on the phone today!  FANS THESE DAYZ!  (hehehe)  But try outs are the 11th, and we're currently facing money problems...  we need amps ReAl badd!  And a guitar pedal!  EEEK!  We're taking donations!  But we're doing great.  We have 5 songs, and counting!
--We also have a waiting list of people that want to join the band!  Be the next in line!  EMAIL ME!--
12-18-01   XXAVE is getting geared up for their upcoming gigs, and look forward to seeing you all there.  Our current projects include the songs Lavender (XXAVE) Witch Huner (XXAVE)  Stewart (XXAVE)  Stewart Learns to Fly (XXAVE) You Love Me (XXAVE)  Stalker (XXAVE)  AERIALS (System of a Down)  Come Out and Play (The Offspring) etc.  etc.  We're trying to get some things worked out for our upcoming shows...  And YES, we do have a new member, a lead guitar...  Brian Witte!  (YES, they have a dirty Brian, and WE have a clean one!)  He's tricky!  lol.  Stay Tuned for more stuff.
3-17-02   Now that we have new members...  Chris Vance (Lead Guitar) and Emily Busby (SINGER!!!) we're starting to remake and fix our older songs, such as Witch Hunter, You Love Me, Stewart, Stalker, etc.  Cait even cleaned out the XXAVE room!  Wow!   We're also taking large steps to completing the painfully beautiful song, Lavender.
Things are going very well.  Caitlin is getting a new drumset very soon, and we've got some new shows coming up.  Please take note and come and see us!  Chris has brought with him, some really awesome lead guitar skills.  he's absolutely awesome, and Emily brings with her a beautifully rough voice, both in which will greatly effect our music.
((Sorry that we're not playing at the Bedford GQ!))
A very extremely talented drummer has been at many of our meetings, and is helping out very much, his name is Allen.
Stay Tuned.
