MY FAVORITE SONGS AND THEIR GUITAR TABS/CHORDS
"Don't Look Back In Anger" by Oasis - This is the most awesome song by my favorite band. My
favorite part is the guitar solo. The lead guitar part is great
throughout the entire song!!
"Worry Rock" by Green Day - A great song from Green Day's album Nimrod.
"What It's Like" by Everlast: I love this song. All of Everlast's songs like this are really great.
"Jumper" by Third Eye Blind - A somewhat simplified version, but still a good one if you work with the rhythm.
"The Kids Aren't Alright" by The Offspring: The easy way to play this song -- which is in the wrong key -- is Em, G, C, D.
"Out Of My Head" by Fastball: Such a great song...
And the first song I ever learned how to play:
"Talk Tonight" by Oasis: This link starts out with a simplified version of the chords, then a more difficult version. The first song I learned was the easy version!
Good ways to find tabs or chords:
Gitarre Spielen Tab Search Engine - This is probably the best search engine you could use. Instead of having the tabs right on the page, the results give you links to sites all over the web. You can usually find a lot with this. It's a really good one.
Green Day Tabs - This gives you some pretty good power chords. The songs are sorted by album.
The Offspring Tabs - from the same guy who made the Green Day Tabs. This is also sorted by album.
Oasis Tabs - Tabs for my favorite band.
OGLA (On-Line Guitar Archive) - A large collection of tabs and bass tabs. The search stopped being updated properly in June of '98, I think because of legal problems. Click on USA links for the tab to pop up. You can also browse through some tabs.
Renegade OGLA - The 2nd OGLA. I don't like the way this one is set up. They claim the search is the best ever, but it gives you really stupid results to sort through. It still has a wide variety of tabs though.
