So let's see. This past weekend I had a friend betray me. Several friends actually. It upset me a lot. They went behind my back and conspired against me and then lied to my face about it. Now I know this sounds paranoid, but I am not a nutcase. I am an intelligent rational woman and I know these things happened. Mostly because one of them unintentionally told me what was going on. On Monday I was upset. On Tuesday I was furious. However, by Wednesday I realized these people were not my friends. Oh, I was their friend but they were never really my friends. So I have let it go. They are children and are not worthy of my respect or friendship. It is sad to learn that I am such a bad judge of character though. The good thing about it is, the conspiracy did no real damage to me or my reputation. I will however be more careful in the future about where I put my trust.
