This fine piece of literary work was written by my very cool friend, Angela Neal. If you would like to contact her to tell her how great she is, email me, and I'll hook ya up!
I felt your arms around me
and knew it was just a game
You play with my emotions
only adding to my pain
I must say you teased me well
when you were rubbing on my knees
and you smelled so wonderful
as I felt you leaning close to me
You massaged my shoulders and my back
tempting me even more
I wanted to kiss your lips
But I knew after one, I would just want more
Tonight you held me
underneath a bright, cresence moon
but as splendid as it was,
I knew it would be over soon
The feel of my hand in yours
awakens my tortured soul
and when you touch my body
you play a more important role
"Let's just be friends,"
is what you always say
but tell me please
do friends behave this way??
Do they meet in secret in the night
with one wrong, burning flame?
Do they make out under the starlight
or dance passionately in the rain?
I know you don't want me
even though I love you so
I'm a trinket to pass the time away,
and you're a burden on my soul
I wish you would love me
Isn't love a twisted game?
You can't choose who you're going to love,
and you can't make them feel the same.
I wanna go home!
Nah, I just wanna read more of this really cool poetry!
