Missing You

So many years have passed
but your face still lingers
and the dreams still last
with you at the tip of my fingers

Don't get me wrong,
I'm over you now
but only because it's been so long
and forgetting is the only way how

I can't bear to see you
because just your memory
breaks my heart in two
and I miss you so badly

In some other place
I like to see us in love
I imagine your glowing face
As my face turns above

I cannot bear to forget you
but your memory causes me pain
because I know you've forgotten me
so I let my tears fall like rain

I cry to forget you
but it never really works
because I still love you
even though it hurts

You never knew how I felt
You thought us just friends
but you'll always make my heart melt
and I guess this is how it ends

I wanna go home!
