A: A pharmacist is a professional who sorts, counts, and dispenses drugs.
Q: How long does it take to become a Pharmacist?
A: It can take either 4, 5 or 6 years of college to become a Pharmacist,
depending on if you want a B.S., Masters, or PharmD (respectively). Most people today
choose the PharmD and some schools have advanced programs which allow you
to recieve it in 5 years. Afterwards, you must then be liscenced by your state.
Q: How much do pharmacist's make?
A: Most Pharmacist's start out at $45,000 per year. This is an average starting rate,
and one can make more depending on experience, tenure, kind of work,
location and level of education.
