Jerusalem
Millions of people standing like ghosts
Waiting for the entrance sign
To heaven or hell
Or whatever they call
Place [??] [??] [??????????]
after the bomb drops..
Death wears a big hat and a thin red tie
He dances in front of all the cameras
Death has a satchel his blood is carrying
And inside is the key to the world
[?????????]
[?????????]
[?????????]
Somewhere in Palistine
A crazy young man wants to rule the world
So he buys himself an atom bomb
And drops it on the edge of noone who wants
Cause he wont have a place to hold on to
[?????????]
[?????????]
[?????????]
I don't want to hear about this
I don't want to know about your confessions
There's nothing in this life that really means as much as me and you
And life is so important
And all you're talking about is bombs
Pouring all that money down the drain
We don't want to hear about it
[?????????]
[?????????]
[?????????]
I don't want to die
I don't want to die
I don't want to die
[???]
[???] etc
One of the bands earliest songs and unreleased. Played a lot live during the early days, and was one of a clutch of songs played at an early gig in 1991 where the band were interviewed afterwards by the magazine Curfew. The songs were discussed in the interview and if I can find a copy I will post details later. I do know that this particular song is about Oxford. A recording of this song was discovered during August 2002, soon after this site was launched. Any help with missing lyrics would be gratefully recieved.
